3.4 Our website is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. Adults may purchase products for children provided the products are appropriate for children.

4. Product Pricing

4.5 Title in any products ordered does not pass to you until we have received full and valid payment and your order has been dispatched.

5. Your Order

5.1 All online orders are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Le monde des hiboux.

5.2 You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the specified goods.

5.3 Your offer is accepted only when we confirm dispatch of your order.

5.4 We reserve the right to delay or refuse orders where a transaction contains incomplete or unverifiable details, or where fraud is suspected.

5.5 Promotional codes must be entered at checkout. Limit one code per order.

6. Shipping

6.1 All orders are shipped subject to availability.

6.2 We reserve the right to delay shipment (up to 28 days after purchase) where the product is not in stock. You will be notified and offered a full refund if this occurs.

6.3 We are not responsible for disruption to shipping caused by industrial disputes or events outside our control. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative delivery method or a full refund.

7. Returns and Refunds (Australian Consumer Law)

7.1 Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

7.2 We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy for unused, unwashed, unaltered items with original tags and packaging intact.

7.3 To initiate a return, please contact us in writing within 30 days of receipt, providing your order number and reason for return.

7.4 We will respond within 48 business hours with return instructions. Please do not send goods until you have received confirmation from us.

7.5 Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.

7.6 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.
